Wedding Receptions & Special Events
2 Dog Night will provide just the right mix of music for your special day. We will assist with announcements, wedding party introductions, special dances and ceremonies. Why live music? Your favorite songs will come alive as your guests dance and party the night away! We will play that special song for your special dance, and provide music to please guests of all ages..... from Sinatra to The Beatles, The Twist to The Electric Slide, Country to Mo-Town, and Rock to Hip-Hop.
RECEPTION IDEAS & SUGGESTIONS
* 2 Dog Night will provide music and welcome your guests as they arrive.
* Upon your arrival, we will introduce the Wedding Party, then announce the 'Grand Entrance' of the new married couple.
* First Dance - Bride & Groom (Special music as requested)
* Father & Daughter (Bride) Dance - Mother & Son (Groom) Dance
* Blessing & Toast (Toast is often provided by the Best Man, or other close friend of the Wedding couple)
* Dinner (Live 'soft' music)
* Dancing & Celebration (During this time, upon request, we can provide a DJ mix of hot new dance music during the live music intermission / break)
* Bouquet & Garter Toss (Upon cue, the single men & ladies will be invited to attend these ceremonies)
* Cutting of the Cake (At the requested time, guests will be invited to gather at the cake)
* More Dancing & Celebration (2 Dog Night will follow the crowd with just the right music)
These are only suggestions of typical events from the many Wedding receptions we have perfromed and MC'd. Events, ceremonies, and order of events can be added or deleted to individualize your special day.
